Shuja Mumtaz(General Manager)

Shuja Mumtaz originally from Karachi, Pakistan. At the age of 12, he moved to the United States along with his entire family and settled in the Bay Area. Upon settling in here, he attended Fernando Rivera middle school, and later finished his secondary school education at Westmoor High School in Daly City. After graduating from high school, he started working as a cashier at Kohls on a part time basis while enrolled in a computer science course in community college eminently known as Ohlone College.

In 2010, he started working at Holiday Inn Express in Union City, California as a Front Desk Agent and later got promoted to the position of a front desk manager. In the December of 2013, he made a transition to the Hampton Inn by Hilton Brand as Front Desk Manager, and later climbed towards the echelon of a sales coordinator/Manager. In 2016, due to immediate resignation of Hampton Inn’s general manager, this position was accorded to him by Hampton’s owner. Therefore, from 2016 till present day, he is responsible in leading the general managerial duties of this grandiose hotel franchise. Hence, apart from his career achievements, his hobbies include watching movies that has a comedy genre, cooking, dining out once a week, travelling, meeting people and reading non-fiction books. And, his philosophy in life is to live it peacefully, and with honor and dignity.
