Courtyard Vacaville Wins Top Honors and VIP Super Bowl Experience
The Courtyard by Marriott in Vacaville, California recently earned the distinction of rating among the top 1% of Courtyard hotels in the world. As part of a service competition among the brand, the Vacaville property was selected for a VIP Super Bowl experience at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara California. The owner, represented by Bhupen Amin of Lotus Hotels, and the general manager, Andrea McPeak, will attend the game with access to special pregame events and festivities. Marriott International is one of the largest hotel companies in the world and offers brands including JW Marriott, Residence Inn, Renaissance Hotels and Courtyard. The company recently acquired Starwood Hotels in one of the largest hotel mergers in history. “We are so proud of our hard working management team and dedicated hotel associates. What a blessing and privilege.”, remarked Amin after the award was announced.

Days in Pinole Recognized for Outstanding Quality

Wyndham Worldwide recently completed its quality inspection of local hotels and the Days Inn in Pinole, CA was recognized with one of the highest marks in the nation in both quality and cleanliness. The hotel earned a perfect cleanliness score and a nearly perfect room condition score.

“We are very proud of the improvements and the incredible effort our staff makes to provide exceptional service to our guest. Our team works hard to be one of the best and we appreciate the recognition and community support.”, noted General Manager Vicky Chong.

Two Union City Hotels Earn Trip Advisor Award of Excellence

Both the Holiday Inn Express and neighboring Hampton Inn in Union City, CA recently earned the prestigious Trip Advisor Award of Excellence. The sister properties have developed a reputation for exceptional service and quality, represented by their outstanding guest service scores and social media reputations.

Trip Advisor recently announced that the Holiday Inn Express in San Pablo, California has again won the prestigious Award of Excellence. The hotel continues to provide exceptional service and is recognized as one of the highest quality properties in the Trip Advisor system.

Hampton Inn in Pittsburg Recognized for Outstanding Community Leadership

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburg, California was recently recognized as one of the area’s best community supporters. The hotel hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross earlier in the year and later the staff volunteered to do cleanup and maintenance at a local elementary school. In addition, the team volunteered at a local homeless shelter and continues to support and donate food and supplies to St. Vincent DePaul in Pittsburg.

German Jimenez, the General Manager, is also recognized as a strong community advocate. He volunteers at as a mentor at the local high school, helped organize the local Relay for Life event this year and is the incoming President of the Pittsburg Rotary Club.

Days Inn Rocklin and Days Inn Pinole earn Wyndham Chairman's Awards
Lotus Hotels was honored last week with the Wyndham Hotels' Chairman Award for Quality at both of it California Days Inn hotels. The prestigious award is given to only about 10% of hotels in the Days Inn Worldwide system. Only 12 Days hotels earned the award in the State of California. "We are so proud of our team members for their continued commitment to quality and exceptional guest service," noted Bhupen Amin, Chief Operating Officer. "Our recent remodels at both hotels have been very well received by our valued guests, and we are truly appreciative of this honor." Lotus Hotels has now earned 15 Chairman Awards over the years, among the most of any hotel company in the United States.

Lotus Hotels was awarded the "Stars of the Industry Award" for our efforts in San Pablo with the Hotels That Help program. We have raised over $10,000 this year to directly support Brookside Medical Center which provides pre-natal, pediatric and adult medical treatment to under-privileged families in San Pablo and Richmond. With budget cuts at the clinic, the money was even more necessary this year and we are very proud of our efforts to support this wonderful cause.
